Was looking through my files today and realized I still hadn’t taken down my MGP (Multi Genre Project) I did for English last semester. So if anyone’s interested, take a quick peak into the Life and Times of Amelia Earhart. I think the magazine design is rather nice, and I got some decent photos from it.
Also, don’t use IE6. You won’t get past the 3rd page. Unfortunately, that’s all my English teacher did have on the school computer. Thank goodness for milk and cookies.
I keep telling myself, two more weeks. Ditched the second half of school today due to post-star testing syndrome along with 50% of the junior class. School must be pretty empty - senior class trip also happens to be today. Idiots are those who shell out money for rallies/assembles only 1/10 of the school attends. And standardized testing no one takes seriously: the ones who would maybe care are much more worried about APs to try; the ones who don’t care don’t anyway.
It’s ironic that everything interesting happens in the most mind-numbing institution on earth and that so happens to be the duration (when said institution is in session) when people actually post entries of interest. I have never been so annoyed at going to school in my life as I do this year. I look forward to 2 things every day: Lunch (if it’s not Rush Week or International Week when I am forced to actually think and do stuff) and After School.
It’s quite sad, really, but not atypical.
Also, we had a witch (in every way - including the nose and bloodred lips and messed up black hair) for a sub in APUSH today. It was uncanny.
I also swore at lot more than since I started school this year, which is bad as that signals regression. Damnations. Oh, and caffeine 4-’clock in the afternoon makes me incredibly high.
Inasmuch as I am lazy, I did look, and I still can’t find my nifty Parent Advisory icon. F—.
