It’s been a good 10 months since the 7th version (layout-wise, at least) of the site has been up. It’s high time for a change of fashion, don’t you think? I thought I’d go for something rather drastically different this time, both in color and in format. No more techy drop shadowed areas this time, I’m afraid. Instead, there’s an actual logo (cue gasps) and what was supposed to be a 3 color set. If you browser, you’ll find considerable more…I also went to the other end of the spectrum (though I’m afraid black doesn’t show up on rainbows. For that matter, neither does white.) Foregoing that, as you can see, a few extra shades decided to join the party. Well, the more the merrier.

I know that its a bit more crowded, but I wanted a sidebar this time. Not a typical one, I suppose, but one in some shape or form. So I made one. It’s scary how much time I spent settling on the placement of the title you know.

Anyway, this is my most dynamic design to date and can provide hours of fiddling. See the sun? Hover over it and it plays hide and seek! Um, it took too much loading time (by a WHOLE second). Instead, entertain yourself in Firefox with all the other hover effects. Yep, sorry IE-people. No cool lack of corners OR mouse-play for you guys. Okay…so maybe considerably less than “hours.”

In any case, I expect this to last till Christmas and beyond.

PS. MOST OF THE PAGES ARE FUNCTIONAL, but UGLY. Just give me time. Excuse the shouting…my finger wanted to see what would have if I clicked the cap lock button. AHem. Oh, and some pages are out dated. Yeah. I’ll make another post about everything when I get everything. Its just that I’ve been shutting the site down for hours while I worked on this layout and its gotta be bad when you shut the door on visitor’s faces. I’m sure someone caught a glimpse of this before now.

Oh, did I mention TW Cen MT? I’ve converted to Century Gothic. More web-friendly and all that. Unorthodox, true, but it makes it ever so prettier. Its a font, for those who haven’t figured it out. I also use it much too sparingly generously around this design.
