Edit, Sunday April 23rd // Because I said I’d have something out by the end of the week, here’s the first version of the design. Note that this is a “bare-bones” version, containing only and index page of HTML. I will be releasing a more developed HTML version as well as a theme for WP later on.

The theme has been released, WP format.

At this stage, it works fine on the following browsers:

  • *IE (for Windows) 5.5 +

* Does not work on Explorer 7.0 Beta2 - out of alignment

There’s no better way to keep from doing those things than designing. Well, since its Spring Break this week and I hope to do a lot of things in its duration…well, here we are: a sneak peak at my upcoming WordPress theme, which will be available to download by the end of the week, if I continue procrsatinating every other important thing on my to-do list at the rate I’m going.

I’ve dubbed it dFire (or would it look better DFire?), and it can double as an acronym for darkfaerytale or for “dark fire,” which is what the theme sort of feature. Anyway, its quite dark, though I think I’ve offset it with a decent variety of colors. Its also a bit busy… Hmm. Still, its in the drawing-board process. No doubt I’ll be tearing my hair out once I get to the coding, especially regarding cross-browser renders. Joy.
